[/ QUOTE ] i am aware that it's a cover, i just like jeff buckley's version a lot better than leonard cohen's. i agree it's a lot more meaningful if an artist writes the song, but if you think performers shouldn't get credit for a song they didn't write, you're counting out an extremely large percentage of songs. many of the world's greatest songs were written by songwriters who do not perform them. |
