If I was in a masochistic mood I would have liked to be MLK or Jackie Robinson. They lived extroardinarily painful and challenging lives but the change they inspired is amazing. Obviously Dr. King was more influential in his life but Jackie Robinson might have been more fun because I am a die hard baseball fan.

I don't think I would like to be someone pre 1900 because the quality of life is just so much higher in the modern era.

I am Scottish and my favorite time period is 500 AD to 1500 AD. So I would choose to be William Wallace if I could. I would change his life a little. I would not want to be the leader or famous I would just like to take up a cause I believed in and fight for it till I die.

I only pick him because he is well known from the movie so people will know what I mean. I like the idea of daily survival being uncertain and would like to do physical labor. I would not want to be privileged just an average peasant.

And I would like to die without being afraid or broken but I would like to be tested severly (even tortured, yah I'm nuts but I would like to know if I would crack) so I would choose to die in a manner similar as he did. But I would not want it to be public or recorded for history. I just want to see my enemy when he kills me and have him know he might have won but he did not break my will. I might be part Klingon. lol

If he was me I think he would not change much about my life. I do think he would view it differently than I often do. He would be married and have kids by now. I really don't want that yet but I think he would. He would know he might not get to pick when to do these things and hurry just to get it done! He would not doubt himself so often as I do. He would take pride in the job I do even tho it is a meager one.

I do work hard and to him that would be the important part. He would not judge it by dollars and cents or power as I often catch myself doing he would just be happy it was a honest living. He would kill 90% of the people I meet for trying to screw him over tho! lol

I just wonder if during my life a true test came along if I would be able to handle it like he would. I wish the test would show up already so I could find out. With my luck it was already here and I didn't recognize it. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]
