30/60 game vs wsop tourny where majority of players @ at final 4 tables are either mix game cash specialists or tourny pro's...

I should have known I was getting leveled.

WTF does "getting leveled" mean? I mean I fail to browse a thread on 2p2 where someone has not been leveled.

My take on it is:

its kind of a fall back excuse in case you were totally wrong i.e. kinda like saying "I was drunk..."

For instance, lets say i say AA is a underdog to 88, well when another poster calls me out on it.

I can either A) look dumb, and admit i am wrong or B) Say leveled (implying its so obvious, i was joking)

i didnt know madsen ftd 2 limit split games. i thought they were all nl. considering hes been considered to be a huge fish in high limit split games, final tabling seems to be a good bit of variance. of course, you dont have to be a super high limit winning player to be highly +ev in tournaments.

he just bubbled out of the tv table of some WPT event for his recent cash. kid seems to have some sort of skills, tho I don't if he can beat any of the higher limit games online.

Joe Sebok said this was the worst thing to happen to this kid, tho it's apparent they are friends.

Kid is indeed living the dream. There are some good naked pictures of Trishelle on the net, do a google search.

Hendon Mob

It's not like his results are easily available online or anything, there to compare and contrast at your liesure.

Stop hating, the kid obviously crushes.

I really like Jeff's articles in Bluff, and he seemed to be a pretty down to earth guy.

[/ QUOTE ]

You missed the part about him where his poker experience pre WSOP was playing some random 2/5 $200 max NL game at an Indian casino with no online experience and then he wins 2 WSOP donkaments with money he borrowed from his parents and thinks he is a great player with likely less than 10k hands of poker under his belt?

[/ QUOTE ]

You're right. Those four final tables were obviously variance.

Do you play poker?

All,

Many prior threads have confirmed Jeff Madsen's status as greatest big-time tourney player of all time. No need to belabor that point.

But, wow, Trishelle looks better than she ever has in these pics! WTF!?!?!
