It's like katy goaded him into getting banned, that's the part that feels so completely wrong.

I was ready to give him 2-3 days off for his whole derailing/condescending crap after that one, because I was sick of it, but Katy talked me out of it, and said she'd give him half a day in the hope he'd get the message.

Running to Dids shows me he doesn't see the error of his ways.

Still, he's stopped posting derailing/condescending crap in that thread, so it seems to have done the trick.

He didn't run to me. He mentioned it to me because we talk a lot.

I haven't read that whole thread, but I see two posts from him.

One, a long winded Cardo post where he does his Cardo thing and use 300 words where 10 would do, but it's not de-railing/offensive in the least.

Two, a response to a post from Katy that cut him down, where he responded in kinda and even clarified his intent.

A 12 hour ban was ridic, a 3 day ban would have been insane.

As for him stopping, I'm pretty sure he hasn't been awake for more than an hour, so yeah, good job fending off that one chief.

It's a 500 page thread. I read the portions I assumed were relevant that involved the post for which Cardo was banned, and the post to which Katy responded.

I read a little more.

Cardo makes a joke.

Katy totally does not understand (obvious) joke, assumes it's an insult to VR when it's not, and scolds him. Cardo responds.

Diebitter and Sniper scold him. Heavens to Betsy he is a monster and he must be stopped.

The standards you guys are attempting to lay down for behavior are ridic, and seem to mostly come into play when somebody questions the glory of one of the mods.

He was warned, he ignored the warnings. His stuff was derailing and condescending. That's it. He continues ignoring the warnings given, he'll get the same.

Stop sticking your oar into a forum you don't read and obviously don't get.

I just read every cardo post in that thread (and most of the ones he was replying to). I stand by my statement that this is a goofy ban, especially considering that a post like this from Sniper is apparently okay.

Speaking of Sniper it would appear he is still acting as a de facto mod of that forum. I don't really care since I rarely go in there.
