The player who start the hand with the least chips is given the lower place in H4H.

I stand corrected, thank you.

a lot of why people stall when its H4H is they are watching the other tables to see if someone with a shorter stack than them goes out thus they are garunteed to get the larger payout. So their random stalling does have a general idea for some of the smarter stallers if that isn't an oxymoron.

H4H is just pointless if we cant pause the time clock. It actually encourages stalling in the turbo sats.

If we cant have the clock paused then bubble and FT only for regular MTTs. But I think the biggest issue is with the turbo sats.

[/ QUOTE ]

Devil's Advocate time - is there ever a time when stalling is OK? If not OK, at least +EV?

Take for example a turbo sat where you are on the button. Nobody's got more than a few BBs left, and you know the level's going to go up in a minute. Stalling will ensure that the level goes up before the next deal, ensuring that more people will be forced all-in by the blinds.

Is that not +EV for you?

What's the argument (other than a potential ethical one) against?

OT

I think cash bubble + final table bubble, with some adjustment in the blind clock for the pause, would be excellent.

Also, God, I would have the love child of the first site that took an official position against stalling. I don't care if it's technically difficult to enforce.

stars did a while ago I think, and I thought it was kinda dumb of them

The failure of the poker sites to take positions solely because of difficulty of enforcement is dumb.

only h4h on the cash bubble final 2 tables and FT bubble would be perfect. Maybe final 3 tables for bigger tournaments.

I say less h4h, maybe the bubble, FT bubble, and one/two other significant spots?

make it possible to report ppl for doing it hardcore and punish them with something. dunno like not letting them play tourneys for some weeks.

the guys that just drag it up a bit arent that much of a problem. but ive seen idiots that used their whole time on evry [censored] hand for 1,5 hrs straight.thx to stuff like that my table playd like 40% less hands then others in those trnys. ppl like that should get punished.

why don't you give people less time to act once it's HFH, you don't need a minute to act.
