If anyone from Dallas is headed down there anytime this week PM me. I have a pinched nerve in my back and can't drive, but I'd love to go. I'll buy gas, or dinner, or whatever.

I live in Richardson, right off 75. I could prob drive a small distance if needed to meet up.

Did they mention anything about new tourney structures?

There is a 300 dollar tourney april 29th with the same semi-crappy structure as their 500 dollar tournaments. they said they want to make a 'big' tournament once a month a regular thing but I heard from the dealers that they don't have any set plans in changing their daily tournaments. who knows though.

the monday opening tournament last night was the same as usual except they didn't put a limit on the number of players so we had over a 100. unlimited number of players, up till there tournament tables are full, will most likely become a regular thing.

It is pretty sad that with all the money they are spending on the new place, that they can’t make themselves look past all that crap and take another look at good poker. For them to have at least one GooD tourney a month with a slow blind structure does not seem too much to ask for. What about maybe paying someone $10 to make a somewhat useful website for their poker room and to communicate with their players. Just sucks to not be able to find any descent live tournaments, I guess there are so many players that don’t know/care about structure that the games will fill up anyway so why not make more money faster. I will prob go check out the new room on friday

*sigh* Why no shufflers on tourney tables? From what I hear from my buddy who went last night, it's an improvement, but they still have a long way to go.

Yeah its an improvement but like with all new things, time will only tell how 'great' it really is (or isn't).

As for no shufflers on tourney tables, I have no clue...just the sort of tables they ordered.

I'm just saying there's no logical reason for it to be that way... unless someone can think of a reason why?
