As president, I will have sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. As such, I would have no choice but to immediately pardon everyone in federal prison for a drug crime in order to fulfill that oath.

It's just an interesting theory. And in this scenario the house would probably be sold and the money given to the government. But you're dead at this point, so whatever.

actually the 100% inheritance tax to fund a social fund has been proposed by a number of theorists (thus ensuring that wealth cannot become more and more concentrated over generations and inhibit social mobility) - Roberto Unger in particular - who is an amazing theorist that both leftists and rightists will find things to love and hate about....
-- I would make it a law that the Commander in Chief still has to lead the troops in battle, from the front lines, on a horse if he decides to invade another country. All those legislators voting for such authorization also must be on horses in the front lines. With trumpets. Playing patriotic songs.

I hate hate hate hate hate inheritance tax. So let me get this straight, money and other things my family has worked for and been taxed on already gets taxed more because they wanted me to have it when they die?
There's a special place in hell for anybody who thinks that 100% is even reasonable to listen to, much less put in place.
