You don't understand. I am telling you whether EP has blockers or not is irrelevant to his decision on the river, as long as he's not changing the distribution of hands possible in LP's hand.
He can choose to play less than optimally on the river to make sure LP cannot call turn profitably, but this is not the most profitable for EP to play on the river in the game as given. If you are going to make this argument, then you're effectively making meta-game considerations. A Hold'em situation like this would be your opponent has open ended straight draw on the turn, and he makes a call that cannot possibly be profitable given the stack sizes and he won't bluff (because he's loose passive donk). Straight comes on river, whether you should call his push is totally irrelevant to the fact his turn call was as donkey as they come. |

I agree with the last part, but the first part seems to introduce a condition that can never hold: Blockers MUST change the distribution of LP's possible holdings.
