Re: Is there value in Kobe under 40 points (-130) ? thoughts
OK, now find what the standard deviation is over the last four games since he decided to take over the offense, over which time he's averaging 56.3 PPG. Get a percent there, average all three numbers together, and you've got a pretty good idea of where the line should be.

Re: Is there value in Kobe under 40 points (-130) ? thoughts
The problem with using stats from earlier in the year is that there has been a shift in Kobe and Phil Jackson's attitude. There's been an ackowledgement that the Lakers don't have the supporting cast and the only way for them to win is for Kobe to takeover games. Very different from earlier in the year when the emphasis was on getting others involved.
I'm not saying it's a bad bet, just that stats from earlier in the year when Kobe was averaging in the high 20's are no longer applicable. |

Valid point, which is why I can't really use stats from previous seasons as well. lol let's just agree that if you have money on bodog, bet it ASAP before the line moves any further.

Re: Is there value in Kobe under 40 points (-130) ? thoughts
i've personally watched the bodog line move from -150 to -260 over the course of the afternoon, and luckily got it at -160, so whatever anyone's opinion is on coaching is moot to me...i'm on the right side of a ridiculous line shift...

Possible Dirty Arb up now on Bodog for those of you with good lines on the UNDER 50 Pts.
You can take 55-62 and 63-69 assists +pts +rebs at +320 odds. Figure he wont crack 70 if he does reach 50 pts. You could also hit a middle on a line of like 48/6/4 or 40/8/7. Thougts? |
