Hunter Pence for the Astros... hit .571 (16 for 28, 4 2B, 2 3B, 2 HR, 9 RBI, 4 BB, 4 K, 2 SB) before being sent down to minor league camp. He'll start at AAA this year, and probably get a call-up some time this season.

Kubel is hitting the ball well which is a really good sign for the Twins. If he could put up decent numbers at DH for the Twins this year it would be huge. Hopefully his knees hold up well enough for that at least!

Cuddyer is also hitting the ball well so far, if he can have the kind of year he had last year (or even, gasp, improve!) that would be huge also.

Castillo is batter .530 through 35 ABs or so. Hopefully he is healthy again!

Also:

Nathan/Rincon/Neshek, 17ip, 0er, 18Ks
Santana 14ip, 11K, 1ER (he usually starts kind of slow)
Crain/Garza/Ortiz/Bonser have all looked solid too. I just wish they weren't going to keep Garza out of the rotation

I'm more worried about it becoming some sort of chronic thing then I am about it affecting his short term performance. Hopefully it just means a few more games at DH then he otherwise would have played...

All the news sources and insider knowledge point to this being an isolated and non-serious problem. Mauer should be fine.

He goes out on quite a limb and is only postulating that it might be a problem. I promise you I show no bias (I'm an Indians fan), and I think Mauer will be fine for years to come. However, his move to DH/1B is inevitable.
