Again, according to their own T&Cs they owe the players around $40k between them.

Not really since the players were entitled to 100k/348 or $287 on average according to the T&C. But this is a average and a couple had doubled up already so those guys obviously got screwed. The “free” tickets is going to cost Mansion close to $100 each, since most players are regulars and would have bought in anyway.

Heres the reply i gotfrom support, good too see them refunding the money but having to email them to get a free buy in obviously something only a small percentage of the people will do.

MANSION David: It was a technical error and our poker dept is currently looking into the problem

MANSION David: You will be credited your $100 buy-in for this tournament by the end of the business day and if you buy-in to another tournament before sunday you can email us at memberservice@mansion.com and we will refund the tournament buy-in, so effectively you will receive $200 ($100 refund and a free entry into another tournament)

[/ QUOTE ]apparently they have emailed every participant. Why are you being so negative towards a company sticking a fortune into these tournies?

Normally these 100.000 guaranteed have on average 550 players; so that's a huge overlay.
Sometimes there's even less than 500 players.

Today they had a number of 657 players, never seen that much on those tourneys; about 20% more than normal.
I'm quite sure that this thread had something to do with it.

Now that's irony...!

Double cheers!
