[/ QUOTE ] exactly, i thought i made this clear earlier. i don't care that i paid - i've done that before, and i'll do it again. but this girl just hasn't shown any signs of appreciation or even a gesture of offering to pay for ANYTHING (even a poor college student can offer to pay for a cup of coffee).

one of my friends was in a relationship for about 2 years. He paid for everything and spent all his money on her. WHen he told her they had to split 50/50 she was totally cool with it.
Personally I like my brothers approach the best. "I did invite you out so I'll get this, but I don't want you to think I am some sort of sugar daddhy." I think girls will respect/like you more if you don't pay for everything. The situations changes a lot if there a big difference in finances between you to.
