play around 50k hands of 1/2 and move up to 2/4 by the end of the month.

Who do you guys think the best 200NL grinders on FTP are?

Also, highest winrate known from datamining, and by who?

Interesting datamining statistics (from FTP 1/2 NL since Jan 1), sorting by # of hands played in descending order:

- I have 7 players with >24k hands (up to 39k hands) and their winrates range from -2ptbb to +3.2ptbb
- I have La Jolla Shores at 5.7ptbb over 24k hands and Olgi at 4.5ptbb over 23k hands
- 15 of the 16 players in the range of 15k to 23k hands all have winrates under 4ptbb, except for...
- ...I have Spear1 at 8.7ptbb over 15k hands

Less than 15k and you start getting less stastically valid samples (and I don't have a higher winrate than 9ptbb until you get down to 10k hands). Even 15k isn't that great, but I only have so many hands on people.

Conclusion: You can draw one of two possibilities from this...
- 1/2 NL is a lot harder to beat than everyone says it is, or
- The grinders putting in lots of hands aren't very good compared to all the people that brag in this forum.

I wonder which one is more likely...

bingo, I remember there was a big controversy in past about this. A lot of people talked about having high winrates but all datamines I see say different. Most people talk the talk, but only few know they are talking about . <3.

I remember I read somewhere that even the best 200NL regulars over large sample were <5bb/100? or was that for a higher limit?
