Re: Would you vote for Ron Paul? (polltard)
[ QUOTE ]
If RP get's to be president, he'll be dead within a week. JFK got into office unexpectedly and he wasn't in line with the interest of the ruling powers. It cost him his life. [/ QUOTE ] Jack will save him! [ QUOTE ] Also: RP is a constitutionalist. So he's just for a different kind of slavery. [/ QUOTE ] Look, I understand you don't like it, but the fact is, it's as close as it's possible to get to your desired situation without a revolution (which this country is not ready for, and won't be for a very very long time) [ QUOTE ] RP is writing articles like 'get out of Iraq'. 'No war with Iran'. That kind of stuff. But he of all people should understand WHY all that stuff is happening. And he should expose the SCAM. He should expose the people benefitting from it. NOT presenting those guys as misguided but as actively evil. Turning these debates into a morality debate 'should the govt do this or should the govt do this' is ALWAYS a diversion. And just like the poker thing it has NOTHING to do with a moral issue. [/ QUOTE ] A morality debate is exactly what is needed. *You* are engaging in a morality debate by calling government institutionalized slavery and asserting that that is a bad thing. A morality debate is never just a distraction. [ QUOTE ] Listen to Barry Greenstein: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HO7AQrsicM [/ QUOTE ] I've already seen this, he's very right. I'm surprised he's not posting here in politics. I wonder if he would identify as AC?... |

Everything's fine in my land of make believe, so I don't bother with such practical choices in the real word. [/ QUOTE ] Um, ok |

If RP get's to be president, he'll be dead within a week. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this to some degree. I don't necessarily think he'd be dead within a week, but the election results would be rigged or something similar to keep him from taking office. I'll still vote for him though. We have to at least try to do the right thing. |

[ QUOTE ] http://www.buffalobeast.com/96/image....hat.jpg

Consider yourself on ignore from now on. I've had enough of you stalking me. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not stalking you, dude. I post on the same forum as you and get sick of your drivel. All of the ACists can't stand you, all of the statists can't stand you. You are a troll. The only people who get any value from your posts are the ones who find it entertaining (me sometimes), or the other nutball conspiracy theorists on the board. You are a huge detriment to liberty, minarchy, and even anarchy due to your incredibly idiotic posts. Maybe if you actually read a post you'd understand this. Iron- I tried to not have any personal attacks. Please remove if you think there are any. |

Re: Would you vote for Ron Paul? (polltard)
[ QUOTE ]
So much is wrong with the way government operates now that RP's politics could hardly be described as conservative (ie, maintaining what we have now). [/ QUOTE ] That's not what "conservative" means in relation to politics. If it were, there are a lot of liberals we'd have to call conservatives. :P |

Re: Would you vote for Ron Paul? (polltard)
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Wow, two votes for Ron Paul from Democrats. I honestly thought there wouldn't be any. Do those voters want to share their thinking? [/ QUOTE ] I'm just as interested in the thoughts of the Republican that said he wouldn't vote for Ron Paul. Doesn't Paul have the most conservative voting record in Congress? [/ QUOTE ] That was me. I applaud him for considering each issue for himself, but his solutions are much better than those of anyone else in Congress and, if implemented, would greatly improve our country. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Would you vote for Ron Paul? (polltard)
[ QUOTE ]
my actual vote doesn't matter [/ QUOTE ] Individualists think their vote doesn't matter so they don't vote, but collectivists see themselves as part of a greater whole and think their vote does matter so they do. Strange how the collectivists always seem to win! And so long as individualists can't see the forest for the trees on this, the collectivists will continue to rule us all and things will get worse and worse. This so-called "logic" is the primary reason our country has gotten so much worse as it's gone along. |
