Well, I don't think when you play the hand like this you can fold. I don't prefer to expound my personal reasoning, but I think in the long run you need to not let excellent opponents be able to convince you to fold when you play so passively.

I know you've been card dead and a big pf 3bet means a lot of strength, but it's better than playing a pot oop against a good player with a wide-ish pre flop range and a lot of PSB's behind.
I don't really know what i'd do postflop. |

i like preflop wayy better than 3-betting, but c/ring flop is good
and c/r the river? WHAT?!? |

I think I had a flush, don't really remember the exact hand probably b/c you didn't call the river? I dunno, obviously I had you beat.

I ended up folding the river. What do you do if blank hits the river, and he pushes? CTS anyway you can share what you had? [/ QUOTE ] i'd probably call |

lol at some ppl in this thread. i really think pf is just bad, it's not like even if he assumes your range is narrow he's just gonna fold qq and jj here(i think at least). post flop i play the same and fold the riv tho.

why not c/r the turn when the 3rd spade hits and you hold the As??
Aces can still be good on turn and if they aren't you have outs. I like the crai on the turn. He has 700 behind after his turn bet. Obviously his calling range with worse hands is ridic small, but you could push him off sets or two pair, right?? |

TWP I'm tempted to ask if you are joking about c/r river all in, except I already know that you are completely serious.

I think that Hero's hand looks like AK to CTS. It's highly unlikely that hero has a set, KQ or a flush, because he would have raised at some point. He wouldn't play JT. He check/called two barrels, which means he probably has no Q, and he wouldn't have KJ or worse in this spot... so AK.
So river bet is real hand by cts. So fold. |

Not much can hurt our hand on the river. If we get it in on the turn we're a big dog, despite having outs. We also take away his option to bluff the river. [ QUOTE ] Obviously his calling range with worse hands is ridic small, but you could push him off sets or two pair, right?? [/ QUOTE ] lol, no. He is not betting this turn unless he has a clear plan on what to do if hero c/r. And I doubt that bet/folding a set is in cts' head. |
