if this does happen to be true, which it looks like it is...how hard could it be for sites to find a new company to process their checks???

Sweet...I have two different checks i requested from AP and WSEX on monday for over 4000$...Is the bank going to accept these??? Will they clear??? This is really bad and unsettling, i wish that Chexx would actually make a statement that would clear this up...

I just called WSEX. I made one withdrawal on 1/25 and another on 1/29. The woman said that their processor has been delayed. She said I should have the 1/25 check by this Friday and the 1/29 check by Friday or Monday. She said that they have not received a FedEx tracking number from their processor yet but should recieve one.

This really sucks.

Why are you all panicking? Chexx is not a bank. Its a company who specializing ni providing check writing services for people who need to write checks in large quantities. If this is true, then Stars gets a new company or starts writing out the checks themselves. More costly, but not the end of the world.

hopefully the sites that use chexx inc were aware of a pending pullout of US marker in advance and have taken the appropriate measures to get a new processor...i know, wishful thinking

Yea, all good and well, except for the ones of us that have thousands coming via a chexx check. That can be a little troubling.
