Re: Led Zeppelin, 4/27/69, Fillmore West
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] From the January 25, 2007 issue of Rolling Stone: A month after Wolfgang's Vault began streaming 300 classic concerts online for free in November, Led Zeppelin, the Doors, the Grateful Dead and Carlos Santana demanded in a U.S. district court lawsuit that the site remove the recordings and pay unspecified copyright-infringement damages. [/ QUOTE ] Wow that sucks! Ok I bought the Replay Music software ($39, highly recommended), and will be downloading every favorite concert asap to mp3 files. Can't let this treasure disappear. I don't see any Doors music on the site but am grabbing the Zep, Santana and Grateful Dead stuff first. I've almost got enough player points on Full Tilt to get the 30 gig ipod video, will be filling it up with these songs woohoo. L8r.. BB [/ QUOTE ] You know there are torrent sites with (probably) hundreds of live Zep shows in lossless format? I currently forgot the names (besides torrentspy), but if you want me to remember, I will. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not a Grateful Dead fan, so I may be mistaken. But I thought that the Dead not only didn't mind bootlegging of their concerts, but even encourage it. |
