My, I didn't realize my innocent remark would spook some people so much. I think it's time to nip this thing in the bud; to put a finger in the dyke if you will. I certainly don't wish anyone's view of me to be colored by any tint of impropriety. Hopefully I can start over anew, all spick-and-span.

Do you, by any chance, recall the bruhaha in the DC City Council ten years ago over the use of this word?

It was ultimately decided that the guy in question (Clarke?) was "insensitive" for his use of the word.
