Re: Helpful Hints For Random Things Thread
When shaving your private area with a razor, leave the shaving cream on for about five minutes before hacking away with the blade. This prevents those red bumps and crazy itching.

When the movie ends and you have to piss like a racehorse but there are 20 other dudes with the same idea, go to the opposite wing of the theater. The management staggers the movie end times as much as possible to keep the lobby from becoming too crowded, which means that the other restrrom is almost always empty. This has served me well for many years.
This is the most important piece of information I know. |

It is so simple you would think it's standard, but it's obviously not. |

If you cook with garlic, rub your hands on stainless steel to get the garlic smell off of your fingers. [/ QUOTE ] Or wash your hands with cold, not hot, water. Keeps the garlic oils from absorbing into your skin as much. |

Toothpaste can also be used for the garlic on hands problem, actually, if your hands smell from anything, washing your hands with toothpaste gets teh smell off.

all, you don't have to change your oil every 3000 miles, your gut has to do with the calories you eat vs. the calories you burn, not sit-ups, always buy brand-name q-tips, your belt should match your shoes, gmail is the best web based email, you should probably smile more, and god is something that people invent to give themselves a purpose in life, and/or feel better about themselves. also, there is always someone out there that knows more than you about ______ so don't act so cocky. [/ QUOTE ] You are my hero. I agree with you 100%. |

Easy way to get wrinkles out of clothes:
Throw a few articles into the dryer with a damp washcloth or hand towel and run it on high heat for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove clothes promptly. |

Re: Helpful Hints For Random Things Thread
Inexpensive and safe (if you have small children) all-purpose cleaner = white distilled vinegar.
Use it in your laundry instead of bleach for clothes that you can't bleach. Cut with water (about 10:1) and use as a surface/glass cleaner. |
