I am going to stop in on a Tuesday night in a few weeks. Am I going to find a 10/20 game or bigger?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd give you a 40 to 60 percent chance of finding a 10/20 and about a 5 percent chance or less of finding something bigger.

The 10/20 is very hit or miss during the week from my experience, and you definately won't find a bigger game than that, though on Mondays they spread pot limit 5/10 and starting this week they're spreading 3/5 NL on Sundays.

On a Tuesday your best bet is around 7 when they change shifts and if there's a long enough list they'll open a table. Sometimes, though, they only have a couple 2/4 games and a couple 5/10 games going on weeknights, but it really varies. They also allow double-limit overs.

Hope that helps.

thanks for the info. i'll be driving to Racine, so I'll likely stop and play whatever game they have available.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd call potawatomi and Ho Chunk a couple hours before you get in those areas and find out who has the bigger game. By the way, Potawatomi spreads a 30/60 game every tuesday.

dorf,

Thanks. I'm stoked about this and want to go play (living in Madison) but I have to study for board exams for now. (Being 30 years old and having an M.D. and still studying like a high school student SUX) Come April, I will definitely be up there. One last question - how was the wait? With only 1 table each of 5/10 and 10/20 seems like it could be a little bad.

Does anyone know if it is 18+ or 21+ ? I was told that Wisconsin changed the gambling age, but most casinos haven't changed their minimum age. For example Lake of the Torches has been 18+ for a while now.

I've been there 4 or 5 times since it reopened and last night was the first bad wait I've had. Don't forget to call them before you go. You can get your name on a list by phone up to two hours in advance.

Going to Racine from where? Potawanomi is closer to Racine than Ho Chunk (and probally a lot better it sounds like at the moment)

Not sure what nights they have 10/20 guarenteed though. If you get the number from www.paysbig.com (under Poker FAQs) they might be able to tell you.

no Lake of the Torches in Lac Du Flambeau is 18 plus in the whole casino, including their poker room (if you can call it a room...).

When I was there in late January they said that they were turning one of those side rooms filled with slots into a poker room.
