I do have a concealed carry license, but the butt rubs my hip whilst I'm walking. Plus it's mostly just for zombies anyway.

Safety PSA

Always walk or run against the flow of traffic.

If you are out or plan to be out past dark wear some reflective clothing. Plenty of such clothing can be found at sports stores that wont look reflective until light hits it, so you dont have to worry about looking like a dork for wearing a "crossing guard" jacket. For max safety, get a "blinky" for like $3 you can get one that will last forever and clip to your shirt or wherever.

"dusk" is actually the most dangerous time, most people (walker and driver) are careless because "its still light out" even tho visibility is drastically reduced, so as a walker/jogger/cyclist this is the time when you have to be most alert.
