SL - unfortunately I get to watch the Raiders plenty as I live in the Bay Area and don't have DirectTV.
Randy Moss was bad this year. He dropped lots of passes. Mostly he dropped passes when there was a decent chance of getting creamed by the secondary after the catch. |

[ QUOTE ]
Why do people think Moss sucks now? I haven't really been able to watch the Raiders play much, but I can't remember watching him and thinking he looked bad. Is it simply because he hasn't put up any big numbers since going to Oakland? I think he could make a huge contribution to any competent offense with a decent/strong armed QB. [/ QUOTE ] When Moss started having leg problems he lost a step or two. He was never a very good route runner. He has always been afraid of being hit. Now his one skill, running down the field sticking his arm in the air and out jumping a DB has become slightly more difficult against the larger DBs that have been entering the league. And he can't out run them as easy, so he has been struggling. That and not giving two [censored] doesn't help. |

Moss coming might help keep Favre from retiring. Favre has not had an elite level receiver since Sterling Sharpe. He might have visions of 80 yard bombs in his head.

I can't see the "city" of Green Bay willing to support this trade. I don't think it will ever happen.
Favre is past his prime and likely to retire soon and the last thing Moss would want is to have another first year starting quarterback throwing to him. He would be better suited on a team like the Falcons or Dolphins rather than the Packers. |

Great. Send Randy to the crowd he freakin' mooned in the playoffs. That will go over real well.
