Wow the interview chick is terrible... several slip ups that weren't even edited out, and just seems very vacant and phony.

I agree with everyone about production, but anytime I get to see Barry Greenstein "@ work" really is a treat. There have been a couple of hands that are really IN-Depth that the commentator(s) don't even really get into their real analysis. A hand w/ Kenny Tran/Max Pescatori/and Mike Matusow and the one on this recent episode between Barry G./Chad Brown. Even thought LATB is smaller stakes, I really enjoy that "above the rim" type of analysis that no one else out there brings like them. Props

Watching this you can tell why Gabe Thaler is praised so often. Too bad the commentary sucks, even the donkiness of some of the players could be stomached with better announcing.

This show gave me a whole new level of respek for Gabe's play. Tho I wonder how often he makes these types of laydowns when ahead...

Yeah, nice laydowns by Gabe in the last episode, especially the AK vs AA - I don't even recall the last time I saw something like that in HSP.

Does anybody know what is wrong with the announcer on this show? In one hand Todd Brunson has 86o, the flop comes 7 K A, and the announcer says that Todd has flopped middle pair! Then later, a player has AdQs and the announcer says he has AQ suited.

I don't know why, but I can't stand Vanessa Russo. She may not be a bad player, but she is definitely annyoing at the table. Not showing cards, talking borderline stuff like "I think I have to call" and such. In terms of table manners she is definitely on the come.

Daniel chose Gabe Thaler first in the PPL draft...and the reason was because of his cash game play...being that the PPL would be playing "skill poker."
