Re: Official Cowboys/Eagles thread
I enjoyed the way that the Cowboys fans turned on TO and started booing him at the end of the game
Of course, if it had been Philly fans doing that, the announcers would have piled on the Philadelphia fans, claiming that "This is part of the reason why it's so difficult to succeed in this city, the fans love to boo and will turn on you in a heartbeat". In Dallas, it goes completely unmentioned. Not saying that I want it to be mentioned for Dallas fans either, because I would've booed in their situation also. I just wish the media would quit acting like this stuff doesn't happen in cities outside Philadelphia |

I wonder if A Taste of Thai is open today. For some reason I got a craving for some really good duck.

Re: Official Cowboys/Eagles thread
Yeah, but Philly has more than it's fair share of a-holes in the stands. It happens a lot more there than any other place I've been to.
Every city has obnoxious people, sure, who drink too much and so on, but it's far worse in Philly - I don't care what sport. The "Boo-Birds" are well-named. It's really embarrassing sometimes. I saw a kid with a Dallas jersey actually get spit on last year, and other people behind him were laughing about it. On the other hand, you can wear an Eagles jersey to a Skins or Jets game and bring your kids along. |

Re: Official Cowboys/Eagles thread
Wow. WOW. That was a flat out old fashioned butt kicking. We just stomped all over them. My god that was fun. Best XMas gift I've ever gotten.
Eagles offensive line was dominant tonight. Eagles were trying to throw downfield a lot, but the Cowboys did a good job covering the long ball, so Garcia ran or checked it down instead of forcing it downfield. Nice job by Garcia. Defensive line played very well. Front 7 shut down their running game. Cole and Howard both held their own on outside runs which they have had trouble with. Our blitzes are finally generating pressure. I mean, what can I say? The Eagles usually win big by producing big plays with their flashy offense. Tonight they just went out there and layed a physical beatdown on the Cowboys like I've never seen them do under Andy Reid. Well done. |
