In Business math (basically pre-calculus with a little bit of calculus/stats sprinkled in) we weren't allowed to use any notes. However, some teachers finally break down when they realize most of their class is going to fail and alter the rules. She ended up having the final replace the lowest score you've received on a test along with a 4"x7" note card (wtfhuge?). I only wrote like two things on it since the class was easy and I knew I'd be getting an A. The only time I used my graphing calculator was for econ when I missed every class except test dates. Used it for the final.
