Poker enables you to do many things in the Real World, mostly through the virtue of making you money.
MMORPG's disable you from doing a lot in the Real World. In fact, some hardcore gamers may consider the Real World some sort of unreleased expansion. You are pumping money into a game in which there is no real way to "win". All the quests and battles favor those people who devote hundreds of hours a month leveling and upgrading gear. Each major battle or raid takes several hours, sometimes as much as half a day (or more). All in all, MMORPG's are a time and money sink, but as someone who once (and occasionally still does) played them, to some, the experience is worth it. |

ive been playing it a lot(tier 3 and stuff), when i quit i got into poker, became better, and now prefer teh moniez over teh purplez.
