[/ QUOTE ] you just said "me thinks not", you now have more pretense than anyone on this forum, congratz on a more serious note, most people aren't forced to use logic too often, being poker players we are forced to use deductive logic very often which is a skill also useful in life. the average person never has to stop and think about events that have occured and make a logicl deduction therein. on another note, you are ridiculously arrogant if you think you know this forum after having made 18 posts, even if you are a common lurker, you need to interact with people to some degree to get a sense of them. back to the point: OP, you are probably not a very good poker player if you cannot figure out that different life skills alter ones ability to use and perceive logic, which is why it is so difficult for some people to accept new ideas and easy for others, often because people honestly are just never knocked down, or are so often that they ignore it; this results in people simply not realizing they could be wrong either because no one tells them they are or because otherwise are too stuborn to acknowledge when they are told they are wrong. in poker we are forced toacknowledge that we are often wrong, which lets us try to see why.
