"Who is building the houses?" is an idiotic, inflamatory statement?

You're doing wonders for the movement.

No you goddamn [censored] idiot, you know what the [censored] I'm referring to

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, I really don't. You mean when I asked who the people are helping? You never answered the question about who is building houses, so when you said these other people were helping, I still didn't know who you were talking about.

If it's something else you're referring to, could you point it out to me? I get confused easily.

But hey, by the way, who's building the houses?

Ok, this guy doesn't seem to have much interest in actually discussing anything. I hope he reconsiders, but we might just have to wait for nietz to come by and help explain this.

as opposed to a few landlords having eminent domain.. what is that?

[/ QUOTE ]

That is the ugly part of a good social norm. Opposing it on those grounds is like opposing exercise because you feel sore afterward.

Ownership means that you control something, and that society recognizes and enforces your decisions made in that control. Mutualism denies this right. Claiming that someone who settles on a piece of land and is allowed to use that land as he sees fit if and only if the others around him democratically agree to allow him to do so owns the land is simply false; it is like claiming that someone ordered to live in a certain apartment by the soviet government "owns" that apartment. You're a collectivist. Don't pretend you're something you're not.

Maybe instead of being angry at the landlords, you should be asking why a human being would spend a lot of money on property that he is not going to use (as we see today with many real estate investors). If you're intelligent enough to figure out why hoarding land is so insanely profitable, you'll realize that the enemy is not the landlords; it's the Fed.

Based on what you've posted so far, what else are we supposed to conclude? You're not helping us to understand.

I'm reading something about land and rent while waiting for forget to post. I like to hear the arguments from the horse's mouth though, because I like having questions answered.

But maybe you'd like to take this guy's place? He obviously has little interest in defending his position and a lot more interest in insulting others. You mentioned it's close to your ideology.

I'm not really sure if it's close to my ideology or not. From the snippets I garnered from neverforgetlol it sounded close. But I'm reading up on it now. I'll report back with my feelings on mutualism.
