This list is insulting. Although heavily pop focused, I see no reason why Andrea Bocelli doesn't quality for recognition, as he would clearly be more talented than any male/fale currently on that list who is still capable of performing.

The list is silly. Certainly Sade and possibly Carie/Houston/Dion are contraltos-- I appreciate that one may like a singer based on their stylings, but geeze, the others? Even in the limited group of "best recent pop voice"...?

I just read online that Aguilera supposedly has a 4 octave range-- I guess I don't believe that.
