Re: just curious - regarding royal flushes
Play Omaha, you'll get them more often
The only one I remember in Hold Em was at Ultimate BEt a few years ago, when they had their high hand jackpot. That was nice |

Re: just curious - regarding royal flushes
Saw a royal on Omaha just this morning. And a straight flush in the same down.

Re: just curious - regarding royal flushes
Ive been quite lucky with Royals.
Ive been playing seriously for about 18 months and had my first one after a few weeks online. Then it went all quiet and I had one a few weeks back live (of all places) in an all-in situation in a tournament, which was nice when they shouted it out and loads of people were talking about it. This is interesting because I would hazard a guess I have logged at least 1000x the amount of hands online as I have online. And........I just had one this morning, which is why I felt the urge to reply. And yes, I did get paid off |

Re: just curious - regarding royal flushes
Got my first one tonight playing nano-stakes holdem 6max at Ultimate Bet. Had QJd UTG and flopped the AKTd. Fortunately for me, somebody else also had 2 diamonds in the hole, so I got paid off fairly well (flop, turn, and river were capped).

Re: just curious - regarding royal flushes
I've played about 150k hands online, and have had 5 or 6 royal flushes. My first 3 were on Party, all at micro-limits, and all got paid off for at least 10 BB pots. My latest was at 50 NL on UB and got paid off decently for a $40 pot, even with 4 hearts on the board (I had AhQh, turned the nut flush and rivered the royal).
