Re: Star Trek: The Next Generation (GAME THREAD)
This part of the game appears to be pretty important:
- Check the computer logs to see all actions and attempted actions from the previous night. This has a 100% chance of success and will tell you the character name (not the player) who took each action, and whether or not that attempt was successful. - Research a player's personal file. Careful biometric analysis can match a player to their character name (but they will still not know if that person is Borg or not). One step can match a character with an action, and the next step can match a name with a character, so there should be some additional role info here. Probably around day 3 or so computer experts should start coming out with anything interesting. We should probably want to have at least one computer expert in a row. Keiko may be able to come out for Miles at some point, assuming both are good. |

IY,
the interesting part is how the bad guys can fudge around w/ any info |

Re: Star Trek: The Next Generation (GAME THREAD)
dmk,
bad computer guy roles can't fudge around w/any info because there is a lot of redundancy. This is a game where we must "Lynch All Liars." Anyone can role-claim, but if they role-claim with the incorrect information, they're going down |

Re: Star Trek: The Next Generation (GAME THREAD)
Also, I'm guessing that we have 1 out of 2 doctors, and 3 out of 5 with computer access. I think that the seer can come out earlier than usual if he's got one of the bad guys with computer access; I'm guessing it will really hamper the abilities of the bad guys if one of their computer guys is dead, and the other is constantly trying to hold the seers door open.

also, this
