[ QUOTE ]
Why would the NO be at +185... there's no way this CD will ever see the light of day...

[/ QUOTE ]

I did some analysis and I have taken the "NO". The reason is that it takes about 8 weeks for the album to be released once it is sent to the record company. The album is not complete and that is a huge issue. Given the length of time and legendary delays of this album there is simply no way they rush new or unfinished material. Axel risks being a laughingstock if he does.

Ultimately, it was this comment by his former manager that caused me to take the no:

Mercuriadis, who has coddled and motivated Rose out of his decade-long, hermit-like hiatus, issued his own statement, blaming the missed deadline on Rose's creative juices drying up. He said recording sessions were booked in London, Los Angeles and New York during the tour, "but the muse did not show.

Here is Axel's comment. If they cancelled shows in January and it takes 8 weeks, how do they hit March 6th?

"To say the making of this album has been an unbearably long and incomprehensible journey would be an understatement," Rose said in a statement.

"It takes approximately eight weeks for an album to hit the shelves once it has been turned in to the record company," he added. "That being said this is not a promise, a lie or a guarantee, but we do wish to announce a tentative release date of March 6. This is the first time we have done this publicly for this album."

Just took the No at +140. I hope I don't get burned on both ends. (I'm on the yes for this year which is obviously a loser - only 1 unit though.)

Looks like March 6th is off the table. No at +185 was a sweet price.

Utah nice nice. I got it on 2 accounts for +140 at least. Love free monies from Bodog. They just paid out today the Will Apple change the name of the IPhone.

50 Cent not appearing on Oprah gets paid out in a couple days.

[/ QUOTE ]I dont have the IPhone bet but I have the 50 Cent bet. I just got paid out on Jessca Simpson/Romo. Pamela/Tommy is also getting paid out in a couple of days. However, I am going to have a rare loss on the Apple/Beatles exclusive.

I have been so busy that I havent looked at the props since the Smashing Pumpkins ones. Do they still offer the frebee props on a regular basis?

Yes. Those bastards at Apple failed to mention at MacWorld this year that the new OS Leapard? was being released this year. Everyone knew it is, and they instead focused completely on the damn IPhone. Can't be upset losing like 1 out of 60 in the past 12 months but I was still bitter. But those peoples who bet the GNR will release this album by Dec of last year didn't do to well. Never have faith in GNR is what we have all learned.
