best cheap beer is free beer, no matter what type.

Best beer is Victory Hop Devil, and it's not even close.

Guinness and Hogarten (i think that's how it's spelled). The latter is absofuckinglutely amazing. But it's also around 9 bucks for a 6-pack.

Hoegaarden with an orange is delicious. Although I prefer Franziskaner.

I had Franziskaner when I was in florida but haven't been able to find it up here in Canada. As far as beers in Southern Ontario go, get Steamwhistle.

Cheap: Coors Banquet

Pricey: Stone Pale Ale

Overpriced Dooky: Heineken, Red Stripe

People, this stuff is just OK bland beer at premium prices. You can't drink a goddamn advertising campaign. "Red Stripe! It's Jamaican for Budweiser!"

N.B.: Exceptions permitted, of course, for chicks you're trying to mount. They're silly that way.

Some of you are cheap as hell when listing your pricey beers.

I dig a Lindeman's Framboise Lambic every once in a while.

anyone in PA can attest to lions head being hands down the best cheap beer - 12 bucks for a 24 of bottles, and it tastes better than coors/BL/natty

[/ QUOTE ]

Meh, I live in PA and I've never paid more than $14 (most of the time $12) for a case of Yuengling bottles. I'll take that anyday over Lions Head.
