[ QUOTE ] Guinness and Hogarten (i think that's how it's spelled). The latter is absofuckinglutely amazing. But it's also around 9 bucks for a 6-pack. [/ QUOTE ] Hoegaarden with an orange is delicious. Although I prefer Franziskaner. [/ QUOTE ] I had Franziskaner when I was in florida but haven't been able to find it up here in Canada. As far as beers in Southern Ontario go, get Steamwhistle. |

Re: Best of the Best Cheap/Pricey Beer
Cheap: Coors Banquet
Pricey: Stone Pale Ale Overpriced Dooky: Heineken, Red Stripe People, this stuff is just OK bland beer at premium prices. You can't drink a goddamn advertising campaign. "Red Stripe! It's Jamaican for Budweiser!" N.B.: Exceptions permitted, of course, for chicks you're trying to mount. They're silly that way. |

Re: Best of the Best Cheap/Pricey Beer
Some of you are cheap as hell when listing your pricey beers.
I dig a Lindeman's Framboise Lambic every once in a while. |

[ QUOTE ]
anyone in PA can attest to lions head being hands down the best cheap beer - 12 bucks for a 24 of bottles, and it tastes better than coors/BL/natty [/ QUOTE ] Meh, I live in PA and I've never paid more than $14 (most of the time $12) for a case of Yuengling bottles. I'll take that anyday over Lions Head. |
