With all respect it's reading posts like your that make me think that I probably wouldn't go pro even "IF" I ever get good enough to consider it. I don't think I could handle the pressure of the swings.

Hey man, usually I'm an arse to these kind of posts...but I fell bad caues you have kids...so I'll try to be nice.

How many hands is this over? Also, even with a $10,000 bankroll you really don't have a proper roll/cushion to do this with 3 kids. Now I'm not saying $10K isn't enough for 5/10 limit (cause it is) I'm saying odd things happen in this profession and you need a bigger cushion. For example, right now 123poker has $7K of my money hostage, also codepoker held my money for over 6 weeks. Things like that, plus people hacking accounts, and mnay other things can happen.

Also I hope you truely do know that fulltilt etc. isn't rigged....OBV...and you're just saying that cause you're frustrated. When you concentrate on a site being "rigged" and don't concentrate on "fixing your play" then you're obviously not playing your "A" game. Plus when you hit a downswing like this, you start to tilt and just look for excuses. I'm sure a good portion has been to getting unlucky, but also I bet you're playing your C'ish game.

My suggestion: quit poker now, you really don't have a big enough roll (if you hae 3 kids) and you should get the steady job. Maybe if you get overrolled in the future (make a goal like $30K saved up), you can try again, but seriously man, YOU GOT KIDS! Get a job and stop whiny...think of them and not yourself. It's one thing to take a shot single..it's another with 3 kids..and YES, with $10K playing 5/10 limit and only $2.5K saved as a cushion, you are indeed taking "a shot."
