Wow im so happy that San Pablo started a bigger NL game. They must have had a change in management since the old management I knew well thought NL was evil. Im going to be going to that one

Haha who are you talking about?
There are 2 $100NL tables that are running daily at SP and each table have like 3 dealers playing in them.. *sigh*
the $300 to $500 NL is starting on Nov 9 by the way.. see you there =) (Although I only play limit games)

try not to be there late at night though (after 3am); you may find 6 prop players milking 2 other fish on the table and the game is no longer profitable

Yo...Evo.......

When you say "prop players", do you mean off-duty (not dealing at the moment) dealers?

Dude, with respect to the few dealers we have in this forum, which obviously this isn't referencing, dealers are one of the most profitable types of opponents to play against.

It has been said before......the dream table is 8 white shirts and an open seat.

Do they spread Omaha8 there?

Onaflag..........

Onaflag: props are players hired by the casino to fill the tables and keep the games going; the casino pay them an hourly rate, but they play with their own money

I do agree with you that games are usually juicy with off duty dealers; they are known as action players in san pablo because their buy in usually comes from the tip/toke during their shifts and they are rather loose aggressive (combined with the fact that its pretty hard to play your A game after dealing cards for 6 to 8 hrs)

Unfortunately, Casino San Pablo does not spread O8. They do, however, spread a stud game which I dont really care for

Let me know whenever you decide to hit up casino san pablo.. it'll be nice to meet some fellow 2+2ers there

I'm also thinking about heading over there soon for the NL game. But, if its all regulars, is it worth my time?

are they crappy regulars with money and time to spend or actual good players?

Sensei: the NL game at san pablo is pretty good; a mixture of good players and a few fish who had a lil too much to drink.. no only are you gonna be able to find a challenge against the good players, you could take a rack or two off those loose weak players too.. why not haha

I have a feeling that when they open the $300 to $500 NL this friday, the quality of play is going to go up again
