Python,

After UTG+1 3-bets you, just what exactly do you think he's holding? I'll give you one guess. If he did this with KK, he's a fool, but still has you beat on every street. I doubt anyone would limp/3-bet QQ. Preflop you're fine. When the flop comes out you need to check/fold. AK is great preflop, but against that many opponents on the flop and you not getting a piece of it, you're done with the hand.

Flop and turn are atrocities against poker. River bet is marginal. But hey, you got preflop right!

Yeah...what he said!

How would you play a hand with infinity pod odds against almost all oppenents to max. your profit?

[/ QUOTE ]

What?

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought you only get infinite pot odds when you take a free card I.e. the denominator bet size is zero.

Hm, ok, he probably holds a very big pocket pair.

[/ QUOTE ]

Right, UTG+1 almost always has AA or (more rarely) KK here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually no, I don't think he does. I haven't seen that many LRRs in limit but when I have, they have often been suited cards looking to make a big pot.

[/ QUOTE ]

Our experiences do not match.

[/ QUOTE ]

Fair enough. I am going to enjoy the benefit of your experience by weighting it more heavily to big pairs from now on, because I daresay you have a lot more hands in than I do.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't be so sure of that, drzen. You've been registered longer than I have and also have more posts. Why would I have more hands than you? I've only played about 30K so far. Maybe I'm the one who should defer to you!

[/ QUOTE ]

Not at all. I have barely played in the past couple of months and I haven't played anything like as many hands as you altogether.
