FF,

I'm curious. Does the fact that if you check it down, you will have to show your 52o change your thoughts on the hand at all? Or...do you want to show the 52o down? Or would you rather keep it a secret.

i think checking this behind is losing a ton of value. anyone who says we don't get paid off from a worse hand is dead wrong.

i'd bet 9k and fold to an all-in.

PS. [censored] metagame, pf is pretty atrocious. Given that he's a very aggressive player, you'll get plenty of chances to resteal with at least marginally playable hands.

[/ QUOTE ]

Metagame has very little to do with the reraise.

who cares about preflop, everyone mentions preflop because it's the "cool" thing to do or whatever, when in reality, preflop actions like this have very marginal effects on the hand. postflop is what matters, in relation to the player and the preflop action, not your cards. that's why in HSNL with good players, fewer hands go to showdown in bigger pots and the players involved/position and action are nearly, if not more important than what two cards you hold.

he can make a straight and he's deepstacked. who the f*ck cares. i'd bet 7-8k and fold to an all-in.
