Its a mouse, I had the exact same issue at my place in the walls. Just get a few mouse traps, try using cheese and bacon for bait. You will catch the little bastards. Look for little turds, this will show there trails in and out. Good luck.

Cheese and bacon? Be careful you dont catch an OOTiot. those are Wolf spiders, of clock spiders (slang )

UCF,

If it is a mouse you don't have to worry about putting traps or poison in the ceiling. It can get in your apartment and find same for sure. If it turns out to be a squirrel, I wouldn't shoot it with a gun in an apartment building, but a pellet rifle would be handy to have for same. Probably though it is a mouse as they like to go up the walls and get in attics or on the tops of ceilings.

I havn't heard it today, but it sounds ALOT bigger than a mouse/squirrell

Hopefully I will have a fun trip report.

It's always possible to have a raccoon or possum. You probably then definately just need to get the landlord to have a critter removal firm look into it and then find how it is getting in and seal it up.

Maybe it's a Ghost...

You'll have to call Ghostbusters for that problem.

I wouldn't know how to start. How do I get inside my ceiling?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, should have been more specific. I ment to tell you to look for mouse turds around the place, they are coming from somewhere..thats how I found out how they were getting in. Then put the traps down, and "Snap-snap" get that mouse.

Yea, I'm nearly positive it's not coming down inside my apartment. I'm pretty sure its an oppossum or something.

Last night there was a really big storm, complete with tornados around the area. I havn't heard it since, hopefully nature pwned it.

wow...little spiders freak the [censored] outta me. If I saw that thing, I would instantly lose 5 years off my life. OP, did you figure out what it was yet? BTW, I don't really believe that picture - at least not the 2nd one. Not even camel spiders get that big. Still nice work though.

[/ QUOTE ]

Picture is definately real - that is from a famous OOT thread from awhile back.

I havn't done anything yet, I'm really lazy.
I'll probably talk to my apartment people tomorrow.

[/ QUOTE ]

That spider looks like its a foot across, that is absolutely ridiculous. But what the hell was it doing under a clock that is laying flat across the wall? I think seeing legs hanging out from a clock like that would be the most dramatic. Definitely freaky [censored].

OMG I thought that was a doorknob in the picture, not a screw. Still sht-my-pants-worthy though.
