Re: Videogame Canon: NES
Just so you all know in advance, you're going to be extremely disappointed with tomorrow's thread. It's not what you're expecting.

Re: Videogame Canon: NES
Clash at Demonhead is just bizarre - I owned it and beat it but never one of my favorite games. Very goofy. You have to buy the ability to save the game, haha.
Clash at Demonhead was made by Vic Tokai.. another solid game by them was Golgo 13 - it was [censored] hard and I never beat it, but trying to make a spy intrigue game on the NES deserves some credit. Definitely belongs nowhere near a canon, though. Another obscure one - Battle of Olympus. Anyone ever play this? |

Yeah I remember Golgo 13. I think they made two. I never beat it either, never even came close, but I agree with your post
and I mentioned The Battle of Olympus in one of my other posts. I never beat that either though. |

I think either myself or my brothers made it to Antarctica w/o it, which might've been the last level before the boss. Battle of Olympus I tried to beat fairly recently (4 years ago), I must've spent a week on the Cereberus (kinda horse thing), but couldn't figure out how to beat it. |

clash at demonhead is seriously underrated. 2 of my most-played nes games are defender of the crown and gunsmoke. [/ QUOTE ] Clash at Demonhead is great, no doubt, although I never figured out how to solve the ending puzzle. I did that when I was about 10 years old and never bothered to look up a walkthrough. |

[/ QUOTE ] http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/nes/f...emonhead_a.txt [ QUOTE ] Q: What order do I put the medals in when I get to the Doomsday Bomb? A: Depends. The order changes every time you get to the bomb as it is randomized each time you get to it. I usually just try putting them all in right away in the order you have them (that is just pushing A to put all the medals into the bomb slots). That's why it's a pretty good idea to use a microrecorder right after you've finished off the final boss. [/ QUOTE ] wtf is that bullshlt |
