Hughes was way weirder than just pissing in jars. He lived in what he tried to design as germ-free environments, and stipulated the exact number of kleenexes(seven) people were to use when handing him things; went for long periods where he only ate one thing, a single flavor of Campbell's soup; was convinced everyone was totally corrupt about everything, despite a germ and cleanliness fetish grew long nails and ragged hair and I think went through Sponger-like bouts of hygiene problems, and tons of etc. Tyson can get through life; Hughes was impossibly rich and was almost lucky he survived day to day without being committed to a looney asylum or somehow killing himself or something.

Cruise has been a scientologist for quite a while now. I doubt we know how deep his crazy really goes or when it really started. Personally, I think the dancing in his underwear in Risky Business started it. You can never be the same after something like that, like a boxer after a brutal match leaving part of himself in the ring that he'll never get back. Cruise's career has been on a downward spiral ever since.
