Surprised no one has mentioned Ultimate Warrior vs Hogan II (in WCW).

[/ QUOTE ]

why on earth would anyone expect this to be anything other than the clusterfuck that is was? Every single moment leading up to the match was a complete and utter disaster. Not to mention that [censored] clown Brutus Beefcake was also involved. I think the term disappointing implies some sort of positive expectations. When my dog goes outside to take a dump i'm not disappointed when he leaves behind a pile of [censored].

Any match in the WCW involving Bret Hart. His tenure in WCW was confused and inconsistent.

There were so many potentially great matches. But somehow they screwed up all the oppurtunities.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes I would say every single instance of how WCW used Bret Hart was nothing but one disappointment after another.

I mean here's a guy who has made Stone Cold pass out, spit on Vince McMahon in public and can legitimately say he never lost the WWE World Championship and you cant find a way to use him? Give me a [censored] break Eric Bischoff is the biggest [censored] joke ever in wrestling. He stole one [censored] good idea and had the luxory of being able to do the biggest heel turn in history and has built a [censored] imaginary reputation out of it.

Goldberg vs Lesnar is the gold standard here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Amp,

don't you think this match was doomed the minute the WWE wasn't willing to do it as a Champion vs. Champion match? It seems to me that once both had lost much of the luster and anticipation was already gone.

It would have been so much better if they would have had the match at the Royal Rumble champ v. champ, with the loser forfeiting his title.

Hogan vs Sting, Starcade '97

Obviously not looking at this from a technical standpoint, this match was a disaster and the real beginning of the end.

[/ QUOTE ]

Oh dear god. The 'fast count' that wasn't really fast! Man, absurd amount of hype on this one.

Blooper reel

Here are some of the more famous botched moves and interviews, including the infamous Shockmaster debut. Take a drink every time Brock Lesnar breaks someone's neck!

I'd never seen any of those. Man, that was uncomfortable to watch. Except the kid in the gorilla suit. For some reason, that was funny.

I remember watching "Quick Draw" Rick McGraw break his neck on the old school Saturday morning WWF show. One of the Samoans gave him an old-fashioned backdrop, and he landed right on his head, and didn't move for the rest of the match.

I was a little kid, and **I** could see the man was seriously injured. But they didn't stop the match.

Are we talking about the acting wrestling or REAL wrestling here? Or something like ultimate fighting?

Goldberg and Scott Steiner should have a "neckbreak" match in which the only way you can win is to botch some move and break your opponents neck. Then the winner will break his own neck in the celebration and we'll finally be rid of these two idiots.
