"For this fight, I've wrestled with alligators, I've tussled with a whale, I done hand-cuffed lightning, and put thunder in jail. You know I'm bad. I have murdered a rock, I've injured a stone, and hospitalized a brick. I'm so bad, I make medicine sick. I'm so fast, man, I can run through a hurricane and not get wet. When George Foreman meets me, he'll pay his debt. I can drown the drink of water, and kill a dead tree. Wait till you see Muhammad Ali."

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams ... glitter in the dark near Tanhauser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost ... in time, like tears ... in rain. Time ... to die."

I always liked this quote because it makes me think about how I would love to live my life...to see and experience great things. It also makes me thing about what is lost when an old person dies, decades worth of memories. Old people > babies imo but sadly society thinks the reverse.

"It's better to burn out than fade away."-Cobain

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't think Kurt Cobain was the first to say that was he? I think it was in a Neil Young song first. And didn't Neil Young get the quote from Johhny Rotten of the Sex Pistols?

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe, but he's probably the first to leave it in a suicide note, which makes it even better.

Why did I expect the letters on the left side to spell out something more profound?

Because you've played a lot of adventure games and/or read all the Encyclopedia Brown books?
