I definitely did not consider 3-betting the turn. What's the value in it? He'll very rarely pay off with a worse hand, and he'll slow down with his better hands and let me bet the river with the loser. And since I have to fold to a 4-bet, why not just call down the turn c/r?

I think calling the turn is correct here, especially because I think my image (as I stated previously) is looser than I actually play.

After some more discussion I'll post my river action and reasoning. And results.

I've seen it. They not only fold it, they show you the hand, and then they discuss why it was a great laydown for twenty minutes.

the river check is a defensive check with exactly that sort of hand. it's a check that intends to call, no matter what. joker could get up and do the macarena and villian is still calling.

btw it's probably two pair. regulars in the wynn 30 are scared out of their minds. they are passive terrible self taughts just waiting to make a very strong hand and then misplay it. ive profiled the hell out of these people and im dead right.

By calling him a retarded nit and passive self taught you are implying that he played this hand poorly. If he did have KQo, which is what I put him on, how should he have played this hand differently?

He should bet/3-bet the flop, or c/r the flop and lead the turn. But if he's c/r'ing the turn, then he should lead the river.

How are you trying to 3bet some old man nit at the Wynn with this hand??

Is the 3bet for value or so you can fold a better hand? I don't think there is much room for either in this case.
