who decides to stop and go come hell or high water with 20BB left?

I struggled to come up with a range, and the best I could do was KJ, especially if it helpfully contained the Ks (since it can't be KJs) or Axs (again, can't be AJs, which would be a very obvious choice for a push, in hindsight.)

Still, the only way this push makes sense as a monster hand is if bax somehow got a read on Steve which, being online makes it bloody unlikely.

I don't know. Especially given the position of the raiser.

I think I should have removed my cards from the HH. I think it makes the most sense to look at the push from Steve's perspective. If this wasn't just Bax playing on tilt, I assume he is making this move with some range of hands which includes KsJs and AsJs...

I never make plays like this, which is why I found it somewhat interesting.

there is no hand for which it is reasonable to push here.

Frankly I think this hand is incomprehensibly bad by bax. As far as I know I've never played with him, so I assume he doesn't have much of a read on me. If he does, it would be second hand and I assume would include the words "calling station" or at least "doesn't make big folds". With that in mind, his play is awful. I can't think of a hand it's good with (people who think this is a good play with AKo need to reconsider). Like funki said, check-pushing draws is better because I still fold AK and he gets a c-bet out of it. I would love to hear his reasoning behind it (and I hope he had to be somewhere else or something).

I agree that it is incomprehensibly bad and without a read on you I agree that there is really no hand that he could have which would make this line reasonable.

The hands I like a push on are 22 and TT if he has a read that Steve will not fold. If he has no idea who Steve is, then I prefer the check line.
