[ QUOTE ]
So the fact that BetonSports was: Wright -xxx Taylor-xxx Draw +xxx all lumped together instead of the draw check box listed in prop bets, I get screwed for betting Taylor? That's kinda cheap, since it's really just another disadvantage. I thought I would at least be getting some kind of benefit from having the draw option but all the other sites have the draw option as well but they don't get screwed when they pick a fighter and then a draw happens. Everyone who bet either Wright or Taylor on Bet on Sports got owned. [/ QUOTE ] Due to it being a 3-way bet, they probably offered slightly better odds on Wright and Taylor. Do you remember what line you got? |

I had Jermaine Taylor -160. I put it in about 2-3 hours before the fight. They never have really good odds but I don't bet much and I was too lazy to switch to Pinnacle (which I heard has the best lines) but now after this, I'm kinda leaning towards ditching BOS.

Pinny didnt give me my money back but I had Wright by decision.

So it seems like there's no benefit for having a site that uses a 3-way betting system.

The benefit is supposed to be the odds. Like ThaHero, I lost and did not get my bet returned, because I bet Taylor by Decision. However, I got +140 on my money versus -140 if I had taken him straight.
A 3-way system should have better lines on the two fighters than in a 2-way system. That being said, other books often have worse odds on their 3-way lines than Pinny does on their 2-way, so you have to do your research. |
