are they still there? I'm pretty sure this is the sidebet scam. Hopefully party guy comes in the thread to say all money
s been confiscated.

To people who still think the scam won't work because bets are for current flops.....

The bet rolls over everytime there isn't a flop. So the scammers make a bet, and fold until they get an edge and then they go to a flop. Did anyone observe flops on this table? and if so were they all one color? Max side bet is 20 and i think it pays out triple no? seems like decent ev. but it is an obvious scam, so actually very negative ev.

Detailed explanation for dummies? (like me).
How can you get an edge by waiting?

A side-bet is made. With ten colluding bots at the table, 20 cards are known. If there are many red cards out, then the change of a black flop would increase.

Your theory is flawed. This was a 6 max table I believe.

Plus you have to make side bets before the hand is dealt don't you?

edited to say I didnt' realize you were joking

No, you could do it because if you never see a flop the bets are cancelled, so theoretically y9ou could cheat by only seeing flops if the count is favorable to your bets.

Is this just guys being stupid and trying to clear bonuses or are they bots? What I'm asking is if they are acting just as fast every time or if there are delays or...?

As I understand it...
Everybody bets $20 that the next flop will be all black (the side bet)
Then they all fold (paying no rake) until they get all (or almost all) red cards..

ooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
I get it now.

So they just have all players bet black.
If everybody is holding red cards then they see a flop.
If there are a lot of black cards dealt out then they auto-fold.

Clever. Devious. Wacky.

this is how the sidebet works. You place a bankroll in the sidebets. Say 100 dollars. Then you set an amount for your bets. Say 1 dollar. The software will now always be waiting to pay you out on your one dollar bet everytime there is a flop. It will do this 100 times. So say the scammers do this(their bets were probably capped I'm guessing, and probably all 6 players were betting.

Now the next hand you are dealt cards, and your first dollar is waiting to be wagered on the flop color. It is folded around though, so your dollar just stays there and waits for then next hand. No flop, it keeps waiting. 5 hands later there is a flop and finally the dollar is wagered and you are either paid for hitting or lose the dollar.
