Re: 50k hands of NL100 - stat check
[ QUOTE ]
Your obv choosing the right opponents to play at. I think your prolly exploitable by observant tags, esp from blinds. Do you get 4 bet at alot when 3betting from the blinds? [/ QUOTE ] Not too much. They usually call and raise my c-bets. |

[ QUOTE ]
Ok, I won't argue about this. I'll try adding tables when I move to a new apartment in mid-december. Right now I enjoy sitting in the sofa with my laptop all day. [/ QUOTE ] There's a sweet spot for everyone, if you can do 3 tables 8 hours a day and don't mind it there may be little reason to change. I can 6-7 table for a while if they are all sweet but after more than an hour or so I start to get frazzled so it's not a good overall spot for me. |

Re: 50k hands of NL100 - stat check
So far I've gotten suggestions that I should/could:
- increase my current hourly rate by playing more tables, seek help from software - start calling more from the blinds - concentrate on stealing the blinds when there is more dead money in form of limpers and not so much when it's folded to me on the BTN Any other ideas? |

Re: 50k hands of NL100 - stat check
Someone suggested I should call more in the blinds and you're suggesting to fold more.
I was very tight in the blinds when I started playing and I've been gradually loosening up. Though actually the last few days I've been more careful of what I open in the SB depending on the villain. Any ideas how to win more at showdown and/or what's the cause of it being so low? When I played nittier 20/18 it was around 50% but since I've loosened up it's hovered around 47%. |

Re: 50k hands of NL100 - stat check
lobster,
I suggest you stay playing 3-4 tables if that keeps your winrate up real nice and if that helps you improve your game. Having a possible higher hourly (I say possible, because that's certainly not always the case) in the short term is what makes people forget about having a higher hourly in the long term. Namely: get better -> move up -> profit. Changing your game for the better is not easy and you want to allow yourself to have room for improvement. |

Re: 50k hands of NL100 - stat check
i don't think you should be pushing your MT ratio. just keep playing well just like you have been. maybe when you are really experienced you can moveup to more tables, but it isn't really necessary.
your stats look really good so far. good work don't listen to advice saying you should call more out of the blinds, looks like you are doing just fine |

[ QUOTE ] Whats your multi-table ratio and where do you play at? Could you post your position stats? Looks very solid so far, keep it up. [/ QUOTE ] I seem to lose from UTG. Biggest losers AA/AJo/QQ/AQs. Variance probably? I play at Stars, MT ratio is 2.97. [/ QUOTE ] tighten up UTG and MP. raise UTG 11% of the time and 12 -13% in MP your losers AA/AJo/QQ/AQs UTG is from having more players seeing the flop. with your aggressive style your getting called more when you raise UTG because they dont believe you have a strong hand. bigblind; raise more when one of the weaker players limp [even better if it's a short stack] for your style of play your aggressive stats look great preflop and postflop. |
