[ QUOTE ] I hope you went for Tony Lukes steaks in the caf downstairs. [/ QUOTE ] Why would you wish that on a nice guy like Berge? Tony Luke's in the basement food court has the blandest sandwiches on the planet. [/ QUOTE ] Come on dude it doesnt taste that bland FYI best food as far as poker rooms goes to the snack bar above the Taj. They have the best NY steak sandwich. |

I'll be there from Thurs-Sun for the next 4-5 weekends, and I'm sure there are many more. I'm friendly, I'll go get a drink or play in a game with pretty much anyone who comes up to me (unless my game is really good, which it always is, but whatever) so feel free to stop by. |

It has no air conditioning, no TV, no amenities, not even a bathroom in the room, but it is a place to leave my clothes when I'm playing and a place I can lay down and sleep for 6 hours between sessions. It runs about 29 bucks a night during the week and 49 on Fri/Sat, and its in the middle of the boardwalk, near Resorts. I don't know if I'd go so far as to 'recommend' it, but its not horrible. |

[/ QUOTE ] Wow. That's ballsy. When I'm with a group, I stay at the Econo Lodge Boardwalk. Prices run about $270/night in the summer on the weekend, but the place is worth it for its proximity to the strip casinos and um, a fine establishment with the initials B.E. When I'm staying alone to play poker, I stay at the Comfort Inn North on Rt. 30 west of the Borgata. I stay there because it is pretty cheap ($110 or so on Friday nights in the Summer) and is close to the Borgata. Of course if you play enough to get the poker rate at the B, that's the way to go... |
