Raise/call the turn is better than call the turn. I would just 3-bet the flop though.

Edit: Easy calldown of the 3-bet versus an unknown IMO.

Honestly dude do you want to just put me on ignore? I really don't know why you have to take a tone every time someone disagrees with you. You pulled the same thing the AA thread and you're doing it again. It's poker, people disagree. I've had people on this forum call my play awful and make it sound nicer than you.

And I would call down if 3bet though on a flop like i think 3betting is better because I want initiative.

my standard with an overpair on a draw heavy flop is just play straight forward, so I wouldn't wait for the turn with AA either.

Our hand is pretty face up when we raise the turn, I don't want sets/two pairs/straights getting three bets in on the turn. Our flop 3-bet is harder to play against as I'll sometimes do this and take a free card etc.

look danza, i never had a problem with you and always respected ur posts but we both know what you meant by that post so dont try to play off all innocent. if you dish it expect it to come back.

and ya, this situation is a lot like the aa thread. but its funny how short term ppls memories are. on that hand since he cred the turn obv he had top pair. on this hand he crs the flop but we dont put him on top pair. whatever.

a ton of times im gonna raise turn. just not vs and unknown.

Victor,

I'd prefer to 3-bet this particular flop but, given that you didn't, I play it the same.
