Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
yeah, but i think theres clearly more value in a bet. the assumption that Qs will bet and draws will bet enough of the time are incorrect imo.

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
disagree personally. theyre def more likely to call w/ lower Qs then to bet them anyway, you cant realy argue against that. KQ might bet, maybe QJ (still q. unlikely imo), but less then that and i dont think it's very likely at all.

[/ QUOTE ] i'm pretty sure we play the same game most of the time, so I'm not sure how you came up w/this totally wrong conclusion. it could be because you probably spend much more time on table selection that i do. |

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
I think once you check the c/r is fine. But I like betting river since I think he has a worse pair more often than a draw (draws bet flop in his position imo)

Re: FT200 AQs unorthodox
Results:
I actually just c/c the river and villain had KJ (of hearts?). When revisiting the hand after the session I was thinking that a river c/r might have some gutsy value, most specifically because I am behind like never so why not give villain a chance to make a big mistake esp because my line seems suspect. |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't see how it can suck even if he doesn't have a Q that often. We are never behind unless he has A7, and some will make a hero call with less than a Q since QJ = AT = 88 etc in his eyes. FWIW I think his most likely hand will be a bluff or Tx so a c/r is fine. |
